* [Permissions](/sunlight/general/permissions.md#scoreboard-module) link.

## Features

* ✅ **Packet-Based**. No real changes are made on the server.
* ✅ **Animations**. Use simple animations based on milliseconds.
* ✅ **Unlimited Boards**. Create as many scoreboards as you wish.
* ✅ **World List**. Set scoreboard(s) to be visible in certain world(s) only.
* ✅ **Rank List**. Set scoreboard(s) to be visible for certain rank(s) only.
* ✅ **PlaceholderAPI** Support.

## Configuration

By default there is one scoreboard called `default`. It's available in **all worlds** and for **all ranks**.

If you want to create different scoreboards for different ranks/worlds, make sure to set their `Priority` setting greater than the `default` one has.

If **multiple** scoreboards are available for a player, the one with the greatest **priority** will be used.

If **no** scoreboard is available for a player, the one labeled `default` will be used (if present).

Add `*` to the `Groups` list to make scoreboard available for any rank.

Add `*` to the `Worlds` list to make scoreboard available in any world.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://nightexpress.gitbook.io/sunlight/modules/scoreboard.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
